Overview
Marigold is actively monitoring developments regarding a recently disclosed vulnerability in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) hardware and Firewpower Threat Defense (FTD) software. Detailed information can be found through a Cisco issued security advisory.
Impact
Marigold does implement ASAs and use FTD as part of our security posture, and has identified that our posture was vulnerable.
Response
Marigold Information Security identified the relevant assets and worked with internal operations teams to confirm impact and coordinate remediation. All identified vulnerabilities were patched and confirmed within 24 hours of initial notification.
Next Steps
Marigold operations teams will continue to monitor our environments and vendor information for ongoing developments.
